Michael Baum Dies In Canton Pneumonia Victim

Michael Baum died at his home in Canton Friday morning, aged 28 years, 1 month and 14 days. Death was due to pneumonia.

The deceased was born near Astoria and was a member of the Christian church at Bader.

He was born Jan. 20, 1902, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Baum, residing northeast of Astoria. He was united in marriage with Mary Cassel, June 28, 1922. Two children were born to this union, who with the wife and parents, survive. The following brothers also survive: Jay of Bryant, Jesse of Vermont, John of Astoria, Joe and Dan of Canton, Melvin of California and Henry of Alton, one sister, Mrs. Gertrude Sears of Canton.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 o’clock Sunday at the Christian church, Canton, Rev. H. W. Talley, officiating. Burial in Greenwood cemetery, Canton.
