Prominent Editor Dies

Harry E. Bell, editor and publisher of the Register-Republican of White Hall, died at his home in that city Monday, aged 57 years.

Editor Bell was well known among the newspaper fraternity throughout the state. For a time he served as president of the Illinois Press Association.

We have known Editor Bell for the past twenty years and always regarded him as a man of fine character. Our sympathy is extended to the bereaved wife and son.
