Mrs. S. Burrows’ Remains Laid To Rest Last Friday

Mrs. Savilla Burrows, widow of Martin C. Burrows, deceased, was born Feb. 2, 1842 in York County, Pa., and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Trimmer, York, Pa., Oct. 26, 1925, aged 83 years, 8 months and 24 days.

She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Amanda Hinderliter, Fulton, Kans., Mrs. George Trimmer, York, Pa., Geo. M. Burrows, Chicago, Mrs. Anna Chandler, Boulder, Colo., C. D. Burrows, Peoria, Ill., W. H. Burrows, Portland, Ore., Mrs. Chas. Shelley, Sheldons Grove, Mrs. I. F. Andrews, Denver, Colo., Mrs. J. H. Wolff, Astoria. Also 17 grandchildren and six great grandchildren, two sisters, Miss Amanda Kidd and Addie Fuller, both of Astoria.

The deceased was a member of the Christian church, Astoria, uniting in April, 1892.

Funeral services were held at the Christian church Astoria, Friday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock, conducted by Rev. G. W. Burnett. Burial in Astoria cemetery.
