ABRAM BARNES

Nephew Dead

Abram Barnes, of Tennessee, Ill., a nephew of Mr. and Mrs. James M. Onion of this city, died yesterday morning at the Holmes hospital in Macomb following an operation for appendicitis, according to a message received here. Joe Onion, cousin of the deceased went to Tennessee this afternoon to attend the funeral which will be held there Thursday.

Mr. Barnes was aged about thirty years and leaves a wife and small child, besides his parents, one brother and four sisters; just about a month ago, Mrs. Jessie Ellis, another sister, died from pneumonia. She was survived by her husband and one child, also. This double affliction falls heavily on the aged parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Barnes, the latter being Mrs. Onion’s sister.
