VeteranYoung Man Dies.

IPAVA, JAN. 12 — The funeral of Charles E. Brock, veteran of the late world war, was held this morning at the Mount Pleasant church and interment was in Woodland cemetery.

The young man died Saturday morning at 7:30 o’clock, following seven days’ illness from pneumonia. During the war he was stationed at Camp Wheeler and was discharged about a year ago from Camp Grant. He was 24 years of age, and single.

One brother, Henry Brock of near Ipava, and one sister, Miss Dora Brock of Peoria, are living.

The funeral was held Monday forenoon, at Mt. Pleasant, conducted by Elder S. G. Bucher. Interment in the Woodland cemetery.
