Death of an Infant.

Thursday evening the neighbors and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Baum were somewhat surprised and shocked upon hearing the news of the death of their infant son.

Mr. and Mrs. Baum had but recently moved into the Mud Valley neighborhood and their child was not thought to be seriously ill until Wednesday morning when it rapidly grew worse and died about four o’clock. The disease being cholera infantum.

These young parents have the sympathy of the entire community in this their first great sorrow.

Ray, infant son of Jay and Grace Baum, was born May 23rd, 1910. Died Sept. 7th, 1910. Aged 3 months, 15 days. Funeral at the Mud Valley church conducted by J. D. Miller. Interment in the Mud Valley cemetery.
