ASTORIA — Daniel Brown was born in Fulton County, Ill., April 27, 1845, and died at Beardstown, Ill., March 27, 1903, aged 58 years and 1 month. He was very industrious, working most of the time in timber. At the time of his death he was engaged as cook for a gang of men near Beardstown. Funeral services were held at the Oak Grove church Sunday, March 29, at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. R. R. Lackey. The body was buried in the Oak Grove cemetery.
