HUGH BOYD

Hugh Boyd

RAY — The mysterious hand of death has been in our midst again. Another home is wrapped in gloom. Hearts of loving parents and sisters and brothers are crushed beneath a heavy load. Hugh Boyd, aged about 25 years, a son of Mr. and Mrs. James Boyd, is the chosen one. Hugh was one of our most highly respected young men and his death has cast a gloom over the entire community. That fatal and dreaded disease, consumption, fastened its firm grip upon his form last spring and all that human aid could do was done to relieve the young man, but his form was too frail to conquer the disease and after many weeks of patient suffering the spirit of the young man took its flight back to the God who gave it, at the dawn of the morning of Oct. 9th. The family of eight children dwelt in the home with loving parents and at last the family circle is broken. May the bereft parents, brothers and sisters be comforted in this trying hour of sorrow.
