Henry Bettison, of Canton was one of the victims of the coal mine horror at Scofield, Utah, in which 300 persons lost their lives. Bettison, who was 24 years old, was a cigar-maker by trade, and went west last December. His is the third violent death in the family, two brothers having been drowned.
