William Bowling

RUSHVILLE — About four weeks ago Wm. Bowling, of Camden township, removed his family to Beardstown, having secured a job as brakesman on the Burlington road. About midnight Feb. 16, while walking along the track on his way home from duty, a car backed down upon him and he was knocked down and run over, his right leg being cut off. After lingering two weeks he died on Sunday. His remains were brought to Rushville on Monday, a large number of relatives and friends following the remains to the cemetery. He leaves a wife and two children.
