Howard “Andy” Anderson, 82, of Colorado Springs, Colo., died Saturday, Aug. 18, 1990, at an area hospital. Mr. Anderson was well-known in the Vermont and Rushville areas.
He was born June 13, 1908, in Rushville, a son of Herman and Nellie (Rose) Anderson. On Aug. 18, 1938, he was married to Donna Burgett in Canton. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Larry R. and Terry L., both of Colorado Springs; one daughter, Lisa J. Anderson, also of Colorado Springs; two brothers; three sisters; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Mr. Anderson retired from Joy Manufacturing in 1973.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Shrine of Rest Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Shoemaker officiating.
