Gertrude M. Athey, 79, of Vermont, died at 6:05 p.m. Friday Oct. 24, 1980, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
Born Sept. 8, 1901, in Kilbourne, she was a daughter of Peter and Jo Anna Scholz Williams. She married Oscar Athey in 1965. He survives.
She was preceded in death by one brother.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana. Burial was in Walkers Grove Cemetery in Easton.
