JAMES ANDERSON

James Anderson Dies

IPAVA — A telegram received Saturday by Mr. and Mrs. Tyron Wheeler told of the death of her only living brother, James Anderson, aged 89 years at York, Nebr. The body would be taken to New Market, Iowa for burial.

Of a family of twelve children, Mrs. Rachel Pickering and Mrs. Wheeler living north of Bernadotte are all that survive.

James Anderson was born in Ohio but moved to Illinois with his parents, Robert and Nancy Morgan Anderson, when a child. They settled on a farm near here where he lived until some 40 years ago he moved to Iowa. With great love for his old home and relatives, he regularly visited here, his last visit being some four years ago.

For several years he has been in failing health due to old age.
