FAIRMONT, NEB. — Mrs. Angie R. Ashley, widow of Rev. Andrus F. Ashley, M. D., died suddenly Thursday evening, May 21, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H. E. Horan, Fairmont, Nebraska. Mrs. Ashley had been ill since last November, but had seemed better lately. Her ailment is given as dropsy, which culminated in heart failure. She was able to be up Thursday morning, but grew rapidly worse during the day. Her two daughters were with her at the end, Mrs. Haddington G. Brown, of Springfield, Utah, having arrived two weeks ago, accompanied by her three children. Funeral services will be held from the Presbyterian church Sabbath afternoon at three o’clock. — Fairmont, Neb., Chronicle.
The above refers to a lady formerly well-known in Astoria. Her husband was at one time pastor of the Presbyterian church in this city.
