JAMES CALVIN ANDERSON

J. C. Anderson

BROWNING — Our old friend, J. C. Anderson, died at his son-in-law’s here Jan. 4th, after a short attack of pneumonia. Poor old man had often said that when he had arranged all his busines in a satisfactory manner he was ready to yield up his life to Him who gave it. And so it was, he had just sold a part of his little farm, paid off all debts against him and settled up with all mankind and then, as the Arab “folded his tent and quietly stole away”. His remains were laid to rest in the new City of the Dead at Ridgeville.
