Milton Amrine

VERMONT — Died, in New Mexico in the Peros Valley, Mr. Milton Amrine, on Jan. 11th, where he had gone for his health some weeks ago. Mr. Amrine was a native of Western Virginia until 1833. He came up to this state with his parents when quite young. The family first settled in Woodford county, where they remained until about 1850. Milton Amrine was married to Miss Roxana Litchfield, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chauncy Litchfield. They have made their home in Vermont and vicinity for many years. He leaves a wife and a number of grown up children to mourn his departure. He was a law abiding citizen and was an active worker in the temperance cause. By thrift and industry he accumulated considerable property and leaves his family well provided for. The remains were brought here for interment.
