Our saddle stitchers gather book sections, staple the spine, and trim 3-sides for a finished booklet. We have two (2) saddle stitcher lines not only for added capacity, but for redundancy. Due to the time sensitive nature of our business we are always prepared for equipment failures and maintenance downtime.

Printed sections are fed into one of our two (2) saddle stitchers where they "nest" one inside another.  A thickness measuring device on the binder rejects any booklets with either a missing or extra section.  Covers, bind-in inserts, or outserts (a secondary cover outside the primary to protect the primary cover usually during mailing) can also be added.

Perfect Bound books are produced on our adhesive binder. Sections are gathered, a hot melt glue is applied to the spine, a cover is attached, and the bound book is trimmed on 3-sides. Most books today are bound using the perfect binding process.
