She was born Jan. 7, 1922, in Canton, the daughter of Doyle and Leona Berry Miller. She married Royal O. Wasson on April 5, 1947, in East Peoria. He preceded her in death on July 15, 2004.
Surviving are one daughter, Lynnea (and S.L. "Speed") Dowell of Havana; and two grandchildren.
She worked many years as a teller at Farmers State Bank in Lewistown.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Lewistown.
She graduated salutatorian at LCHS, Class of 1940.
Cremation will be accorded. Private family graveside services will be held at a later date in Oak Hill Cemetery with Reverend Bob Miner officiating.
