She was born Sept. 23, 1909, in Lewistown, a daughter of John and Clara Slock Bennett. She married Daniel F. Wheeler on Sept. 23, 1926, in Peoria. He died Dec. 16, 1960.
She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Nadine Childers; four brothers; and two sisters.
Surviving are two sons, Walter L. (and Margaret) Wheeler and Wayne L. (and Lucinda) Wheeler, both of Canton; one daughter, Donna E. (and Don) Haggerty of Bettendorf, Iowa; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and a dear friend, Charlie Parkinson.
She worked at the former Kings restaurant in Lewistown and at Prairieview Care Center, retiring in 1977.
She was a Christian.
Graveside services were held Tuesday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown with Rev. Larry Wright officiating. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown was in charge of arrangements.
