Glenn WeinsteinGlenn Eldon Weinstein, 67, of Fiatt died Dec. 11, 2009.

He was born in Peoria, a son of Ellen O. Brecher and Jacob A. Weinstein on April 24, 1942. He married Donna B. Fredericksen of Reddick in June, 1967. She survives.

Also surviving are his children, Donita J. Weinstein of Aurora, GlenEllen J. (and Marc B.) Skaddan of Gales Ferry, Conn., and Jusitn E. Weinstein of Groveland; his mother; one brother, Paul A. Weinstein of Crystal Lake; and one sister, Lois J. Book of Shawnee, Kan.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He grew up in Groveland where he attended primary school and graduated from Pekin Community High School in 1960. He held a bachelors degree of business/economics/accounting from MacMurray College in Jacksonville in 1964, and a masters degree of educational administration from Bradley University in Peoria in 1967.

He was a teacher and an educator in public and Christian schools throughout his career, and also coached men’s basketball and baseball.

Services were held Tuesday at Fiatt Independent Christian Church. Burial was in Zion Evangelical United Methodist Church on Cole Hollow Road in Pekin. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to Fiatt Independent Christian Church, where the funds will be distributed to ministries.
