Nancy WeirauchNancy J. Weirauch, 50, of Lewistown died at 8:30 a.m. April 14, 2009, at Graham Hospital in Canton.

She was born Oct. 5, 1958, in Canton, a daughter of Robert and Jessie (Pruett) Weirauch.

Surviving are life partner, Penni Harris; two sisters, Merrilee Weirauch and Melodee (and Charles) Rudolph, both of Lewistown; lifelong friend, Reba Ford; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Roberta Weirauch; and one nephew, Bobby Weirauch.

She was employed at Fulton County Assessors Office.

She played softball and basketball while attending Spoon River College. She played for Canton Redbirds Women’s fast-pitch league and coached girls softball for Lewistown Park District.

She was a member of Lewistown VFW Auxiliary and served on the liquor commission for City of Lewistown. She was involved in many local civic activities including the annual Glenn Hillig Poker Run.

She was of Catholic faith.

Services were held Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lewistown with Monsignor Robert O’Connor officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown was in charge of arrangements.
