Madge Marie “Joe” Wanderski, 72, of Vermont died at 7:25 a.m. March 13, 2009, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born June 16, 1936, in Tampa, Fla., a daughter of Timothy and Lillian Irene Wells Alderman. She married Donald P. Wanderski on Sept. 15, 1979, in Chicago. He survives.
Also surviving are one brother, Grady Alderman of Orangeburg, S.C.; four daughters, Linda (and Roger) Vance of Richland, Ga., Pat (and Marty) Rebec and Gloria (and Brian) Kost, both of Vermont and Cynthia Kopp of Chicago; two sons, Daniel Moreno (and fiancee Kim Oliva) of Villa Park and Keith Wanderski (and fiancee Heather Urb) of Chicago; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Astoria Church of Christ.
Graveside services were held Monday at Vermont Cemetery with Rev. Eric Trone officiating. Kost Memorial Home in Vermont was in charge of arrangements.
