She was born Sept. 26, 1918, in rural Cuba, a daughter of Frank L. and Gladys Strode Wilson. She married Joseph Ed Wheeler on Dec. 26, 1936, in Lewistown. He died Feb. 17, 1994.
She also was preceded in death by three brothers.
Surviving are one son, Bob of Washington; three daughters, Lorraine Hyzer of Cuba, Helen Johnson of Springfield, Tenn., and Ruth (and John R.) Gaskill of Groveland; three sisters, Vera Martin of Smithfield, Helen (and Sam) Simms of Peoria and Arlene (and Chuck) Randall of Orlando, Fla.; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was an antique dealer and a homemaker.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba with Rev. Amy Wharton officiating. Burial will be in Baughman Cemetery in rural Smithfield.
