Charles Weber, 79, of London Mills, died at 4:05 p.m. Friday, June 14, 1985, in Farmington Nursing Home.
He was born June 7, 1906, in Ipava, the son of Leo and Bessie (Roddis) Weber. He married Rosa Chenoweth Oct. 6, 1928, in Canton. She survives.
Other survivors include one son, Norman Weber of London Mills; one daughter, Mrs. Leon (Charlena) Dierdorff of Chillicothe; two sisters, Mrs. Sidnea Danner of Astoria and Mrs. Gale (Hazel) Livers of Canton; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
He lived in Table Grove after his marriage and in 1935 he moved to London Mills, where he has lived since.
He taught schools for 12 years before beginning work in coal mines. He was a member of the London Mills village board and a former member of the Valley School Board and the London Mills Medical Board.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday at Corman Memorial Home, London Mills with Rev. Daryl Fansler officiating. Burial was in Ipava Cemetery.
