Donald Lee Vaughn, 71, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Ipava, died Sept. 7, 2009, at Banner Baywood Hospital in Mesa, Ariz.
He was born July 21, 1938, in Ipava, the son of Dwight and Martha Tremain Vaughn. He married Beverly Burton. Later, he married Maggie Rogers. She preceded him in death.
Surviving are his mother, Martha Vaughn of Ipava; and many cousins.
He graduated from VIT High School, and was employed as air traffic controller in the Chicago area and retired from there.
He was a member of Summum Christian Church.

A memorial service for Donald Lee Vaughn will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at Summum Christian Church. Dinner will be served at the church following the services.
