Sue Vaughn, 56, of Ipava died at 9:05 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at her residence.
She was born Nov. 5, 1951, in Buenavista, the daughter of Lloyd and Anna Mae Burton Clayton. She married Mike. G. Vaughn Feb. 28, 1970, in Astoria. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Bryan (and Megan) Vaughn of Industry; one daughter, Jennifer (and Troy) Hopping of Ipava; four brothers, Ed (and Pam) Clayton of Canton, Lloyd (and Vicky) Clayton of Marion, Bob (and Sharon) Clayton of Naples and Jack (and Cindy) Clayton of Macomb; three sisters, Carolyn Yates, Mary Howard and Dorothy (and Junior) Reische, all of Rushville; and two grandchildren.
She worked for 28 years at Lewistown IGA. She also worked at JC Penney, and as a volunteer at the gift shop in McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was a member of Vermont United Methodist Church, Ipava American Legion Auxiliary and the Professional Women’s Club.
Services were held Saturday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Rev. Robert D. Greene officiating. Burial was in Ipava Cemetery.
