She was born Feb. 8, 1919, in Rushville, the daughter of Robert and Lenora Lambert Ritchey. She first married J.M. Waters. On Nov. 13, 1944, she married John E. “Dice” Trone in Virginia, Ill. He preceded her in death on Feb. 10, 2004.
Surviving are one daughter, Carol (and Carson) Klitz of Rushville; one grandson, Christopher (and Dianne) Klitz of Rushville; and two great-grandsons, Brady Ross Klitz and Jason Christopher Klitz.
She graduated from Rushville High School in 1936. She owned and operated Mary’s Dari-Maid and Mary’s Cafe for many years before retiring in 1994.
She was a member of Rushville Presbyterian Church.
Services were held Monday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with David Haney officiating. Burial was in Sugar Grove North Cemetery.
