Jane Wilson Tingley, 82, of Charlottesville, Va., died Saturday, July 26, 2003, at the University of Virginia Medical Center.
She was born in Lancaster, Ohio, a daughter of Richard Warren and Jeannette Elder Wilson. She married Loyal Hobart Tingley Jr.
Surviving are one daughter, Patricia (and Stephen) Schnatterly of Charlottesville, Va.; one son Loyal "Terry" (and Margie) Tingley III of Ft. Myers, Fla; one sister, Sally (and David) Jenkins of Columbus, Ohio; and five grandchildren.
She attended University of Chicago. She lived in Vermont for a number of years before moving to Urbana where she was records supervisor for the Alumni Association of the University of Illinois until 1986. She had lived in Charlottesville for the past ten years.
Hill & Wood Funeral Home in Charlottesville was in charge of arrangements.
