David Spencer, 58, of West Liberty, formerly of Macomb, died at 11:30 p.m. Nov. 6, 2016, at his residence.

He was born Feb. 22, 1958, in Macomb, a son of Leonard Dale and Clara Ann Duncan Spencer.

Surviving are his mother, Clara Spencer of Table Grove; two sons, Clinton Spencer of Flat Rock and Cody (and Kandace) Spencer of Willow Hill; one brother, Mike (and Joyce Ward) Spencer of rural Macomb; two sisters, Pat (and Elmer) Kilburn of Berwick and Nancy Sears of Macomb; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father; and one half-brother, Brian Stoneking.

He lived in Macomb until 1989 when he moved to West Liberty. He worked for Zeta in Macomb and Jabat in Olney.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1976-80.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb with Reverend Donnie Case officiating. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pennington Point Cemetery west of Adair.
