She was born Nov. 11, 1942, in Peoria, the daughter of Howard and Lena Roberts Humphrey. She married Darrell Dean Siegel on April 27, 1968, in Peoria. He preceded her in death on April 19, 1992.
Surviving are two daughters, Deanna “Dee” (and Brad) Snurr of Sedalia, Mo., and Tracy (and Jim) Keithley of Beardstown; two sons, Troy Siegel and Greg (and Dawniele) Siegel, both of Rushville; one brother, Richard “Dick” (and Barb) Humphrey of Secor; 10 grandchildren; and four step grandchildren.
She worked in food service at Western Illinois University in Macomb, retiring in April, 2007.
She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Rushville.
Services were held Friday at her church with Father Thomas Tibainuguka officiating. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Peoria with Monsignor Donald Fitzpatrick officiating. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville was in charge of arrangements.
