H. Maxine Smith, 88, of Lewistown died at 9:35 a.m. March 28, 2008, at her home.
She was born Sept. 9, 1919, in Bernadotte, a daughter of Tom and Fannie Hamm Randall. She married Dean Smith on Oct. 23, 1939, in Palmyra, Mo. He died Dec. 21, 1979.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Surviving are one son, Dave Smith of Lewistown; one daughter, Carol (and Larry) DeMotte of Lewistown; two brothers, Walter Randall and Tom (and Dorene) Randall, both of Lewistown; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Monday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown was in charge of arrangements.
