He was born Feb. 28, 1955, in Beardstown, a son of Robert Ray and Dorothy Ellen Hance Rahn. He married Shelly Jean Rhoades on May 4, 1983, in Rushville. She survives.
Also surviving are six children: Michael Rahn of Beardstown, Heather (and Brian) Swan of Virginia, Robert (and Joanna) Rahn of Glen Carbon, Jessica (and Tomy) McCombs and Ragan Rahn, both of Rushville and Randi (and Justin) Lawson of Beardstown; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Larry Rahn; and one sister, Delores Rahn.
He was a life-long mechanic and truck driver. He was employed with DOT Foods in Mount Sterling for 12 years.
He was a member of Rushville Moose Lodge.
Services were held Tuesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Bud Hance officiating.
