Freda M. Powers, 75, of McNabb, formerly of Henry died at 7:45 a.m. July 27, 2009, at her home.
She was born June 27, 1934, in Canton, the daughter of Fred and Dorothy Shippey Yocum. She married Edwin G. Powers on Dec. 18, 1992, in Reno, Nev. He died March 24, 2008.
She also was preceded in death by one brother and one step-granddaughter.
Surviving are one daughter, Joy S. (and Charles) Lindsey of McNabb; one step-daughter, Desiree Powers of Tempe, Ariz.; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.
She worked at Plano Molding in Mendota for 10 years, then worked for UDS delivering pharmaceuticals.
She was a member of Illinois Street Christian Church in Lewistown and Canton Moose Lodge for many years.
Cremation will be accorded. Services were held Saturday at her church with Rev. Ray Greenfield officiating. Inurnment was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown was in charge of arrangements.
