Anthony A. Phelps, 26, of Astoria died at 3:59 a.m. July 20, 2008, at County Highway 2, 1 1/2 miles north of Maple Tree Road, Fulton County.
He was born July 9, 1982, in Rushville, a son of Mark Anthony Phelps and Tammy Sue Powell McCoy.
Surviving are his mother, Tammy McCoy of Canton; his father, Mark Phelps of Missouri; one brother, Joseph “Joey” Phelps of Canton; one sister, Ashley McCoy of Canton; one daughter, Shevell Phelps of Astoria; girlfriend, Samantha Ireland of Astoria; stepfather, Richard McCoy of Lewistown; grandparents, Arthur and Marcia Jones of Lewistown; and great-grandmothers, Annabelle Howard of Canton and Anna Ruth Riley of Lewistown.
He was preceded in death by maternal and paternal grandparents.
He worked at Eagle Point Farms in Table Grove, where he had been a manager.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the memorial home. Burial will be in Astoria Cemetery.
