Harriett JoAnn Parr, 78, of Astoria, formerly of Table Grove, died at 7:10 p.m. June 29, 2007, at Astoria Gardens & Rehab Center.
She was born April 21, 1929, in Astoria, a daughter of Harry Wayne and Sue Augusta Rae Siler Danner. She married Lawrence Phillip “Jack” Parr on April 6, 1946, in Lewistown. He died March 31, 2001.
She also was preceded in death by four sisters, Margaret Richardson, Shirley Bollinger, Sylvia “Sue” Wise and Judith E. Danner.
Surviving are two daughters, Brenda Jo (and Bobby Jo) Fawcett and Kendra R. (and Rick) Hayes, both of Table Grove; two sisters, Betty Frye of Roseville and Rose Davis of Astoria; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She worked at Ken Ray and Mahoney Foundries in Vermont for many years, retiring in 1991.
There will be no services. Inurnment will be at a later date. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria is in charge of arrangements.
