Wilma L. Pool, 78, of Versailles, formerly of Table Grove, died at 5:10 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2003, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
She was born Aug. 13, 1924, in Fulton County, a daughter of Charles and Florine Barker Carrison. She married William Russell Pool on June 25, 1943, in Kahoka, Mo. He died Nov. 13, 1996.
She also was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Surviving are two sons, Phillip (and Donna) and Terry (and Barbara), both of Mount Sterling; one daughter, Virginia "Ginny" (and Dennis) Engelbrecht of Versailles; one brother, Harold Carrison of Bradenton, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker.
Services were held Saturday at Hendricker Funeral Home in Mount Sterling with Rev. Dan Edwards officiating. Burial was in Versailles West Side Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Brown County Youth Baseball, Brown County Ambulance Service, Culbertson Memorial Hospital or Versailles Christian Church.
