He was born July 16, 1967, in Rushville, a son of Charles Thomas and Sandra Lee Bauch Orr.
Surviving are his parents of Nauvoo; maternal grandparents, Elmer and Maxine Bauch of Versailles; one brother, John Daniel “JD” Orr of Rockford; and one sister, Michelle (and Garry) Marshall of Rockford.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Hildreth Orr; and two uncles, Bob and Stanley Orr.
He was a member of the ROTC program during high school and graduated from Carthage High School in 1985.
He was a Mill Wright working on Electrical Power Plant construction.
Services were held Friday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Pastor Irv Woelfle officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery.
