LYDIA A. (LANE) NELSON

Mrs. Lydia Nelson Of Browning Dies

Mrs. Lydia A. Nelson, 90, of Browning, died at 7:03 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, 1975, at the Myers Nursing Home in Beardstown.

Mrs. Nelson was born in Schuyler County on Sept. 20, 1885, a daughter of Adrian and Jeanette Burrell Lane. She married Harry E. Nelson at Bader on Oct. 1, 1905. He is deceased.

She was a member of the First Christian Church.

Survivors include one son, Virgil, of Bumpass, Va.; two daughters, Mrs. Lewis (Freida) Smith of Browning and Mrs. Maurice (Lauberta) Bunch of Moline; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Floyd of Browning; and one sister, Mrs. Edna Kirkbride of Galesburg. One son and one daughter preceded her in death.

Funeral servies were held at 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the First Christian Church in Browning with Rev. James Shirley officiating. Burial was in the Browning Cemetery.
