She was born July 23, 1919, a daughter of George “Ed” and Louise Pemberton Jones. She married Maurice B. Moore on Nov. 6, 1938, in Wapello, Iowa. He preceded her in death on Jan. 18, 1983.
She also was preceded in death by one brother, Loren Jones; and infant twin sisters.
Surviving are two sons, James E. (and Laura) Moore of Rushville and Larry W. Moore and special friend Jo Pottorf of Jacksonville; one daughter, Mary L. (and John) Hymes of Beardstown; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She graduated from Rushville High School in 1937. She worked at Rushville State Bank and was a bookkeeper for Schuyler Community Unit School District #1 for 31 years before retiring.
She was a member of Rushville First United Methodist Church.
Services were held Tuesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Steve Pichaske officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery.
