James L. Main, 70, of Lewistown (Spoon River Towers) died at 6:25 p.m. Oct. 2, 2009, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born Jan. 26, 1939, in Danville, the son of Ansel and Ethel J. Freed Main.
Surviving are one sister, Mary Epey of Marysville, Ohio.
He worked in management for Caterpillar.
Cremation will be accorded. There will be no services. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown is in charge of arrangements.
