She was born May 10, 1954, in Beardstown, a daughter of Albert Vernon and Irene VanOrder Meazell. She married Rodney Meyer on Sept. 17, 1982, in Beardstown. He preceded her in death on Jan. 1, 2002.
She also was preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving are five children, George Large of Calcium, N.Y., Terry (and Ginny) Large, Verdie (and James) Shaw and Danny Large, all of Rushville and Shelly Rankin of Camden; three brothers, Jack (and Rhoda) Meazell of Perry, Ga., and John Meazell and Jim Meazell, both of Mount Sterling; one sister, Jenny (and Jim) Miller of California; and 14 grandchildren.
She was a member of Rushville Assembly of God Church.
Services were held Monday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Larry DeSha officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery.
