Janet Marie Nash Miers, 63, of Rolla, Mo., formerly of Beardstown, died Oct. 23, 2008, in her home.
She was born July 14, 1945, in Perry, a daughter of William A. and Virginia Hubbard Nash.
Surviving are one son, Donald (and Heather) Miers of Crane, Mo.; three daughters, Sandra (and Daniel) Talbert of Pekin, Ind., Sharon (and Pat) Shackelford of Vermont and Teresa (and Kurtis) Miers-Whaley of St. James, Mo.; two brothers, Eugene Nash and Donald Nash, both of Beardstown; one sister, Shirley Bush of Beardstown; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Austin M. Miers and Jasmine J. Miers; three brothers, Bill, Leroy and Ronnie Nash; and two sisters, Willa Dean Larkin and Violet Johnson.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Beardstown City Cemetery with Rev. Eric Crawford officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sager Funeral Home in Beardstown.
