Robert E. McDougall, 95, of Rushville, died at 1:15 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25, 2004 at Snyder's Vaughn-Haven Nursing Home in Rushville.
He was born June 23, 1909, in Rushville, a son of Edward Walter and Maude Beatty McDougall. He married Verna Annabelle Jackson on May 15, 1938, in Keokuk, Iowa. She died April 4, 1983. He later married Alleyne Strong on June 6, 1986, in Hannibal, Mo. She survives.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Ralph.
He owned and operated McDougall Plumbing in Rushville for many years before retiring.
Cremation has been accorded. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Rushville City Cemetery with Rev. Ray Greenfield officiating. Worthington Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
