Mrs. Laura Mummert, 93, a lifetime resident of Astoria, died Wednesday evening at the Sunset Nursing Home in Quincy, following a brief illness.
Born Sept. 9, 1865 in Astoria, a daughter of John and Ann (Hopkins) McClelland, she was married to Andrew Mummert, who preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Methodist church and the Women’s Christian Temperance Union.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
The Rev. H. Sheldon Pattison conducted funeral service at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon at the Shawgo Memorial Home. Burial was in the mausoleum in Astoria cemetery.
