John LillyJohn B. Lilly, 86, of rural Lewistown died at 2:05 p.m. Feb. 5, 2013, at his home.

He was born March 26, 1926, in Lewistown, the son of Frank E. and Esther E. Arnett Lilly.

Surviving are two nieces, Sandra J. Relyea of Redding, Calif., and Linda S. (and Chris Medina) Relyea of Alamosa, Colo.; two nephews, James O. (and Yvon Boss) Relyea of Alamosa, Colo., and Scott E. Relyea of Big Fork, Mont.; one sister, Barbara (and Abe) Relyea of Alamosa, Colo.; three great-nephews; one great-niece; and seven great-great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Lilly.

He was a farmer.

He was a World War II Navy veteran.

He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Lewistown, Fulton County Farm Bureau and Lewistown American Legion Bishop Post 1.

Services were held Friday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Pastor Kathy Barrett officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery with military rites conducted by Lewistown VFW Post 5001 and American Legion Bishop Post 1.
