She was born July 29, 1921, in Bernadotte, the daughter of Charles E. Sr. and Evelyn M. Smith Rowe. She married Ray W. Lasswell on Nov. 29, 1940, in Palmyra, Mo. He died Oct. 17, 1997.
Surviving are three daughters, Beverly (and Verne) Liddle of Canton, Karen (and Bob) Atwater and Janice (and Ron) DeFord, both of Lewistown; two brothers, Leon “Pete” (and Sylvia) Rowe of Havana and Charles Jr. (and Doris) Rowe of Lewistown; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Illinois Street Christian Church in Lewistown.
Services were held Monday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Rev. Ray Greenfield officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown.
