Wade H. Lybarger, 88, of Brereton, died at 4:10 a.m. Sunday, July 6, 1997, at Farmington Country Manor in Farmington.
He was born June 17, 1909, in Vermont, a son of Charles and Bertha Bogue Lybarger. He married Marie Filerbo Hayes on Sept. 26, 1986, in Canton. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Bobby of Melbourne, Fla., and Charles of New Mexico; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Gary (Donna) Swigert of Fairview and Mrs. Brad, (Mary) Stevens of Farmington; one stepson, Wayne Hayes of Canton; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
One daughter, Judy Galbert, two brothers and four sisters preceded him in death.
He was a coal miner at Midland Coal Co. for 20 years. A horse showman, he was past president of Astoria Saddle Club.
Cremation has been accorded. Anderson-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Farmington was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to Farmington Rescue Squad.
