Carol Edwin Lindsey, 72, of Rushville, formerly of the Summum area, died at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, 1981, at Culbertson Hospital in Rushville.
He was born July 25, 1909, near Summum, a son of James Luther and Mary Catherine (Shelley) Lindsey.
He is survived by four nieces.
Mr. Lindsey was a retired farmer.
Funeral services were conducted Monday at Kost Memorial Home in Vermont with Collis Trone officiating. Burial was in the Astoria Cemetery.
