Mary Jane Kost, 88, of Highland, Ind., formerly of Vermont, died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2003, in Highland.
She was born Oct. 31, 1914, in Schuyler County, a daughter of David and Grace Montooth Jones. She married Gilbert Kost. He died in 1988.
She also was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Jones; and one sister, Margaret Venteus.
Surviving are one daughter, Vada (and Roger) Beans of Highland; one brother, George (and Delores) Jones of Illinois; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Kost Memorial Home in Vermont, where visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Vermont Cemetery.
