Marilyn V. Jones, 83, of Pekin died at 8:30 p.m. Sept. 27, 2006, at Timber Creek Healthcare Center in Pekin.
She was born Aug. 31, 1923, in Pekin, a daughter of Harry E. and Nola Moyer Jones.
Surviving are two brothers, Norman "Skee" (and Betty) and Julius "Bud", both of Pekin; and one sister, Yvonda (and Lee) Stell of Bryant.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
She was a graduate of Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Springfield. She worked as a registered industrial nurse for Corn Products in Pekin for 40 years before retiring.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Pekin.
Services were held Saturday at her church with Pastor Mark Friday officiating.
Memorials may be made to her church. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown was in charge of arrangements.
